The Darlington County Board of Education regularly meets on the second Monday of each month at 6 pm in the Training Room of the DCSD Administration Building, located at 120 E. Smith Avenue, Darlington.

Darlington City Council meets 6:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month except where noted (*). Dates are January 8*, February 12*, March 5, April 2, May 7, June 4, July 2, August 6, September 3, October 1, November 12*, and December 3.

The Year of the Panther Tour slinks on to Darlington. Join Tyler James Cook at Purple Fish Coffee Company for a post-Valentine's Day extravaganza, featuring all of your TJC favorites--and some over-the-top love songs from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15 at 110 W. Hampton St.

Sunday

The Men’s Ministry Breakfast will be Sunday, February 17, at 9 a.m. at St. Matthews Church, 210 S. Main St., Darlington. All are welcome to attend.

Monday

The Board of Directors of the Darlington County Water & Sewer Authority will meet in the Conference Room at 131 Industrial Way, Darlington, at 5 p.m. on the following dates: Jan. 22, Feb. 18, March 18, April 15, May 20, June 17, July 15, Aug. 19, Sept. 16, Oct. 21, Nov. 18, and Dec. 16.

The Darlington High School Athletic Booster Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18 and March 18, at the DHS Media Center.

Monthly DDRA Members Meeting will be at 8 a.m. on the last Wednesday of the month, Feb. 27, at Taki’s Diner, 609 Pearl St. Breakfast is provided. Cost: Free for members and $5 for others to go toward the meal.
