Papa John's Pizza donates to DDRA
Papa John’s Pizza held a three-day percent night August 6 to August 8 to benefit the Darlington Downtown Revitalization Association (DDRA). Ten percent of sales from each day were donated back to DDRA. The donated percentage applies to carryout and delivery.
“We are looking forward to the DDRA percent nights and could not think of a better group to support,” said Carmen Chambers, Papa John’s Franchise Owner. “We love the city and people of Darlington and are really trying to get involved with the community and give back as much as we can.”
“The DDRA is extremely grateful for this wonderful opportunity,” said Lisa Rock, executive director for the DDRA and director of planning and economic development for the City of Darlington. “We are glad to have business owners willing to contribute back to our community.”
Funds raised through the event will go toward DDRA projects and programs, including the Improvement Incentive Grant Program, Bringing Downtown Alive! Concerts (Aug. 31), Scare on the Square (Oct. 25), #ShopDarlington promotions and Shop Small Downtown Open House among others.
