The City of Darlington will open the Gandy Pool for the season on Wednesday, June 12. Hours will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting, on Wednesdays through Saturdays at 115 Gary St. The pool is open to the public, and the cost is $1 for the day. There will be an opening ceremony to dedicate the pool improvements at 10 a.m.

The Pee Dee Coalition will hold its Inaugural Clays for a Cause clay shoot at Moree’s Sportsman’s Preserve on Friday, June 14. Registration. Flyer. The Miss Darlington USA and Miss Darlington Teen USA pageants will be held for the first time ever on August 17th at Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School at 7 p.m. The winners will represent the City of Darlington at the 2020 Miss South Carolina USA and Miss South Carolina Teen USA pageants held in North Charleston on November 22-23, 2019.
